Properties and Composition of the thermal waters

Our waters are used for different cures, among which we can mention rheumatic and muscular. They are suitable for hot baths (not for consumption), they help in conditions of the respiratory and locomotor system, and improve the texture of the skin. The temperature is from 32° to 35º on the surface approximately.

Rosario de la Frontera

In Rosario de la Frontera is the Hotel Termas, which dates from 1880 and proposes to enjoy different types of thermal baths, which have a thermal quality that is only surpassed by very few thermal waters, considering all those known in the world; in addition to a complete spa service.

On the other hand, the hotel has excellent services and a tennis court, golf, volleyball, bowls, horseback riding and a games room, bicycle excursions, flora and fauna watching, farm trips, photographic safari, fishing, visits to the National Park El Rey, historical visits, visits to the Palau bottling plant, the Virgen de la Montaña Grotto, the Aguas Chicas springs, and the Cruz viewpoint, among others.

The old environments, spacious halls, extensive galleries with their typical windows, the elevator is a detail that has been preserved from the original building, are interspersed with new facilities.

The thermal waters of Rosario de la Frontera flow from various depths that reach 3,000 m. There are 9 varieties of water, with temperatures ranging from 25º C to 99º C, this allows us to offer 5 types of thermal baths.

General Güemes

The El Sauce Thermal Complex is located 68 km away from the City of Salta. It is special to enjoy with the family the Vertientes de Aguas y Barros Termales.

Open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is only closed 3 days a year: 01/01, 05/01 and 12/25. The pools work from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
